What is the dress code?

Our wedding will be a formal affair.
We request gentlemen to wear a tuxedo or dark suit and tie, and ladies to wear a floor-length gown or formal cocktail dress. We kindly ask our guests to not wear jeans or boots as this is a formal event. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

What will the weather be like?

Scottsdale is beautiful in early November, with highs in the 80's during the day and lows in the 50's at night (and no humidity!). Fall in Scottsdale is a great time to enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and dining on patios. It’ll also be the perfect weather to enjoy cocktails by the pool during the day, so don’t forget your swimsuit!

Will the ceremony be outside?

Yes, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, but we anticipate comfortable weather.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that there are no phones or cameras out during our wedding ceremony. We will have a professional photographer here to capture this special moment so that you can sit back, relax and enjoy it with us. Our beautiful images will be available after the wedding.

Where should I stay?

We have reserved rooms at The Scott Resort at a discounted rate for this occasion. We encourage our guest to stay at The Scott as it will be most convenient for all wedding events.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, due to venue restrictions, we are unable to accommodate plus ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Will there be transportation to and from the events?

For your convenience, we have reserved rooms at The Scott Resort where our ceremony and reception will be held. For that reason, we do not anticipate needing to arrange transportation.

Will there be parking available?

There is plenty of parking available at the resort at no charge, as well as a complementary valet service.

Will children be attending the wedding events?

Although we love your little ones, please note our wedding will be an adult-only affair.

What airport should I fly into?

We recommend flying into Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX) as it’s only a 20 minute drive from the resort.
Please also check that your Driver's License is Real-ID compliant before booking your flights! Beginning May 7, 2025, anyone traveling domestically by air will need to present a REAL ID compliant license/ID according to the dhs.gov/real-id website.
